I began training for home inspections at
My first paid inspection was in 1994. In 1994 there was no regulation of home
inspectors. Since then, I have inspected 1600+ homes.
As a beginning home inspector, I decided to concentrate all my efforts toward
you, the end customer (buyer-client).
This was not a popular position in the Real Estate community.
Consequently 75% of my business is from past clients or referrals and
25% from”BUYERS AGENTS” or industry web sites.
I do not provide any repair services.
I inspect homes and provide a thorough and honest evaluation of that home, on that day
in the form of a narrative report with photos.
Home inspectors are required to be licensed in the Comm. Of
I attend many training seminars. These seminars are given by the leaders of the Home
Inspection and Building Sciences Industry.
I have earned certification as a “Pest Control Operator” from the Comm. Of
1998
I have earned certification as a Radon Technician 2001.
I am currently training for certification from the International Code Council.
I am a dues paying member of the ICC and expect to gain certification
(2007) as a Residential Combination Inspector in the “IRC 2006 for one
and two family homes”. This is a valuable certification for my future
clients in

inspector—title 5 inspector-- hvac technician—architect—mycologist
carpenter(builder)-- roofer-- mason
These professionals/tradesmen require extensive training and a license from
the
